We imagine Weavehall as a home. The rooms in this home can increase, decrease, and be shaped as needed. Inside the rooms, we have friends working in their own fields, and we gather in the living room to discuss and share our ideas, dreams, and projects. What emerges from this living room becomes a roadmap for us, and the living room represents the heart of Weavehall.
Each of us gains more information and evolves every day. Unfortunately, the occasions where we can be present and explain what we have learned and the skills we have are getting harder to catch. In our age, the habit of fast consumption has settled into every aspect of our lives, and this situation often causes artists and their works to be misunderstood. We want to learn, understand, feel, and discover new worlds with the artists we gather in the hall. We create to get rid of temporary trends and similar cycles, which we are exposed to through the constant and unnecessary flow of information.
At Hal, we aim to grow collectively and create a structure that prioritizes respect in art and the works created by artists. We advocate the search for knowledge and depth, rather than superficial information. We know that from past to present, people have become more talented and equipped thanks to the information they share with each other, and artists have contributed to this transformation by expressing their thoughts, feelings, and social views. Weavehall is inspired by the art of "weaving," coming from combined roots of arts and history, dedicated to creating the heart of Weavehall. The very Hall that will continue to be a space where we meet. Join us; there is so much in the Hall we can explore.
